The Met Office has today declared a level two heatwave alert in southeast England. What does this mean? Basically it’s going to get hot, hot, hot in the city. Temperatures in the next few days could reach 31°C (88°F) during the day and may not fall below 20°C (68°F) at night. If you haven’t got yourself a fan then you’d be wise to go and get one now!
I have to say though that I absolutely love this city in the summer. It’s a great pleasure walking along the streets of London and seeing people enjoying the summertime – whether it’s sunbathing in one the many beautiful parks, cycling along the River Thames or simply drinking Pimms in a beer garden, Londoners certainly know how to make the most of the warm weather.

This is good news for the weekend, though I tried to buy a fan from Argos the other day, completely sold out! Got to say that Timeout is probably the best magazine for London living, conatins lots of good things to do around town.
